Rolec EV charging at Wellington Civic and Leisure Centre

June 7th 2012

Rolec EV recently supplied a number of Classic 3000 EV charging stations to the Wellington Civic and Leisure Centre in Telford for use in their public car park.

The 1000mm high pedestals were manufactured to client specification with green powder-coated composite aluminium outer skins and were equipped with 2 x 13amp IP65 domestic sockets for use with mode 2 charging.

The pedestals were also equipped with a token “pay-to-use” system which allows the EV driver to collect a token from reception and insert into the pedestal.

The Classic 3000 EV charging pedestal range is designed to be future-proof and can be upgraded to full mode 3 communication EV charging at a later stage should the Centre deem it necessary.
