New Cable Catcher for EV charging stations

December 8th 2011

Following recent media reports of electric vehicle charger failures due to the weight of the mode 2 inline communications unit, Rolec EV has reacted to the issue with yet another innovation.

The mode 2 inline communication units are relatively heavy pieces of equipment and these were placing undue stress on the sockets and plugs used in the EV charging stations.

However, the new cable catcher neatly and effectively holds the lead in place thereby reducing the strain on the EV charging point and ensuring that the plug and socket assembly safely performs its very important task.
