Burnham On Sea Goes Smart

Two of Burnham On Seas's leading caravan park and touring site operators have chosen the new Rolec Smartcard Meter System for the management of their electricity hook-ups.

Northam Farm Caravan and Touring Site will become the first caravan site in the UK to install the new Rolec Smartcard Meter bollards.

Their order for 50 x 4way,12 x 3way and 65 x 2way Classic wood-effect aluminium bollards are currently in production and will be delivered in January 2012 and installed as part of their winter development programme ready for the new 2012 season.

Warren Farm Holiday Park will become the first caravan site in the UK to install the new Rolec Smartcard Meter hook-up units. 

Having ordered 200 x SU2F hook-up units which will be ready for delivery early in January 2012, these new hook-up units will be installed in preparation for the new spring / summer season.

We believe that the Rolec Smartcard Meter system which has been developed specifically for the caravan and marina industries, offers the perfect pre-payment electricity management system in these leisure sectors.  Each Smartcard Meter system comes complete with an easy-to-use software programme, Smartcard meters, reuseable Smartcards and a user operating manual.

The Smartcard Metering System is a low-cost solution that is easy to install and operate with minimal maintenance requirements.
