Smartcard Metering
The new generation Rolec Smartcard metering system
consists of:
• A new Class 1 accuracy Smartcard meter
• USB card reader / writer
• re-useable plastic Smartcards
• Easy to operate software allowing:
• initial card set-up
• addition of credit
• refund of unused credit
• security-controlled tariff management
• day-book transaction history
Minimum PC requirement of Windows XP is required, however no internet or network connection is required.
Suitable for replacing GEC, AMPY, SANGAMO and FERANTI meters (up to 63amp single phase supplies)
Any unused credit on the meter can be transferred back to the Smartcard and returned to the office PC for a refund.
