UNDER WATER LIGHTING

October 23rd 2008

We have won the contract to supply over 500 underwater lights for the Palm Jumeirah marina project, this contract will be one of the largest underwater lighting exercises undertaken by a marina in the world. The lights being used are new-generation LED versions. We have developed a stainless steel bracket that immerses the lights to a pre-determined depth at fixed angles to optimize the light spreads and penetration. The brackets have also been manufactured to allow easy removal for maintenance and cleaning. The lights are engineered in PTFE coated anodized aluminium to an IP68 weatherproof rating giving long life expectancy.  Each light is equipped with a 2mm mineral glass lens, its own heat dissipation method and is able to be submersed to depths of 10 metres.  These high visibility low voltage underwater lights can be operated either via their own dedicated power circuit or directly from a nearby service pedestal

The LED lights can be supplied in blue, green, white and amber.
