Football fun for Rolec Services!

As part of a company decision to participate in more fun activities, Rolec Services Ltd has recently formed a football team, with the first 5-a-side training game, well 6 actually, taking place 2 weeks ago.

There was no quarter given and none asked during the game, which saw Global Marina Services representative, Steve King, ending up on crutches and in a cast in what was a high scoring event, with the deadlock broken about 4 hours after kick off (or so it felt like).

There seemed to be a decision made, that ‘next goal wins’, a strategic approach by the team that was at that time, 3-0 down.

The Rolec football players were cheered on by a group of colleagues, who were cleverly disguised as the media and press, although most of the players shunned post-match interviews in favour of the gas and air which was on offer.

Rolec football team hopes to play matches at various times during the month, and I think it’s fair to say, the fitness levels can only improve!
