Fun on the Run, all for a good cause

Bianca and Lee, members of the Rolec Services Ltd management team, recently completed the 10km water wipeout fundraiser at the Nottingham Watersports Centre, in aid of the Bliss charity.

Bliss carries out medical research for sick and premature babies as well as supporting their parents by providing a 24 hour help-line and other types of assistance once the babies have arrived home.

Bianca and Lee were pleased to take part in this fundraising event, having first hand experience of the assistance provided by Bliss when their twin sons, Milan and Madrid recently arrived a little earlier than expected.

The 10km course was extremely demanding and included many obstacles along the way including spiders webs, cargo nets, a giant wall, and crawling through muddy swamps but judging by the smiles on their faces, it looks like they enjoyed themselves.

Bianca and Lee would like to thank everybody who helped and sponsored them in this quest and are happy to say that they raised over £300 for Bliss which went a long way to express their gratitude for the services which the charity provided them when they most needed it.
