Nick Helps Highlight Men's Health Issues With Movember MoustacheDecember 7th 2015
Throughout November one of our members of staff has been growing a moustache as part of the 'Movember' charity push to help highlight men's health issues and raise funding for projects to assist in combating ill health.
Nick Dunmore, Rolec's QHSE Manager, raised over £100 by growing his moustache over the 30 day period. It was the third consecutive year he had taken part, having raised a similar amount of money each previous year.
Nick’s efforts are pictured here, with the progress of his ‘tache shown at the top of the page - and the final results pictured at the end of this article.
Nick said: "The Movember Foundation is a worthwhile charity to support and is also close to my heart for personal reasons.
“I also support Men United (MU), another prostate cancer charity. Earlier this year I raised money for MU through the non-league football Wear The Wig campaign. I will continue dedicating time to raising money for both charities into the future.”
The Movember Foundation is a global charity committed to helping men live longer, healthier lives. Since 2003, millions have joined - raising £402 million and funding over 1,000 projects in 21 countries around the world focusing on prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health and physical inactivity.
