New WallPods for Dartington Hall Hotel

January 23rd 2012

Rolec WallPod recently supplied a number of WallPod EV charging stations to Dartington Hall Hotel as part of the Dartington Trust’s commitment and anticipation of the forthcoming electric vehicle revolution.

The Dartington Hall Hotel is part of the Dartington Hall Trust, a charity focussing on the arts, social justice and sustainability and based at a 1200 acre estate near Totnes in South Devon.

The WallPods were provided in a white and green format in keeping with traditional environmental and “green” colour schemes and each WallPod was equipped with electricity overload and fault current protection as well as 16amp and 32amp electrical outlets, to be used in association with electric vehicles utilising mode 2 charging cables.

In their present format the WallPod units can be used  for both EV charging as well as providing  safe and reliable outdoor electricity supplies for the hotel’s maintenance staff.
