With the UK banning the sale of new petrol and diesel engine vehicles in 2030, combined with Mercedes-Benz revealing plans for their all-electric range of vehicles, the partnership between Rolec and Mercedes-Benz South West comes at the perfect time.
In collaboration with EVC South West (one of Rolec’s approved installers), Rolec are now deploying electric vehicle charging infrastructure across Mercedes-Benz South West’s showrooms, LCV centres and service stations, ensuring that their electric and hybrid vehicles are recharged, ready for the best user experience. Locations that will benefit from Rolec’s charging points include: Exeter, Plymouth, Taunton and Truro.
As electric vehicles are becoming a part of the norm and drivers are contemplating the switch to electric, Mercedes-Benz South West are also ensuring that prospective EV drivers are provided with confidence when making the decision to switch. By implementing a dedicated ‘EV area’ combined with the introduction of EV experts, future electric vehicle drivers will leave Mercedes-Benz South West locations with greater knowledge of the benefits and intricacies of electrifying with their next vehicle change.
