The new generation Rolec Smartcard metering systems consists of:
- A new Class 1 accurate Smartcard meter
- USB card reader / writer
- Re-useable plastic Smartcards
Easy to operate software allowing:
- Initial card set-up
- Addition of credit
- Refund of unused credit
- Security controlled tariff management
- Day-book transaction history
- Minium PC requirement Windows XP (no internet or network connection required)
- Suitable for replacing GEC, AMPY, SANGAMO, and FERANTI meters
- Any unused credit on the meter can be transferred back to the Smartcard and returned to the office PC for a refund
